WINDPOWER 2012 Golf Open

Saturday June 2, 2012
Stone Mountain Golf Club

Sponsored by Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation
and the American Wind Energy Association
Suzlon and the American Wind Energy Association are proud to partner again to bring you the 12th annual WINDPOWER Scholarship Golf Open on Saturday June 2, 2012 at the Stone Mountain Golf Club in Stone Mountain, Georgia. As we have done in past years, Suzlon and AWEA will allocate proceeds from registration fees and a raffle to a very worthy cause – the Wind Energy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising public awareness of wind as a clean, domestic energy source through communication, research, and education. Not only will our golfers network with the industry's top leaders and executives, they will be contributing to the continued success of our industry's future.
Once again, we are excited to announce another beautiful set of vintage clubs has been donated for the raffle which is a vintage 1960's set of Spalding Top Flite Tournament Model Registered set including a pitching wedge, putter, 1, 2, 3 and 4 woods, all matching with original grips and a golf bag- a very cool raffle prize!
The 12th Annual WINDPOWER Scholarship Golf Open will be held at the Stone Mountain Golf Club on the Lakemont Course, located just 16 miles from downtown Atlanta in the historic and picturesque Stone Mountain Park. This all-inclusive event features access to industry leaders, a challenging game of golf with spectacular views, great food, keepsake golf shirt, and of course, transportation, greens fees, and golf carts. Lunch will be provided upon check-in with ample time for driving range practice followed by a "shot gun" start at 12:30 held in a scramble format. Golfers will play on a four-person team that will use the best ball for the following stroke.
This is hugely popular event each year so don't delay! Please fax or email your registration forms ASAP and immediately follow up by mailing your payment to secure your spot (we cannot accept credit cards) directly to Suzlon. Your registration is not valid until payment is received at Suzlon's office in Chicago. Due to space constraints, we may need to limit participation to two persons per company depending on the total number of registrations received.
The non-refundable payment per participant is $225, which includes transportation to and from the convention center, lunch, tournament fees, an official 2012 WINDPOWER Charity Golf Open shirt, and an awards program over a barbeque buffet and cocktails. Golf club rental will be an additional $40. The tournament also offers prizes to the best performing golfers, as well as a raffle with fabulous prizes to benefit the Wind Energy Foundation.
Please make registration checks payable to SUZLON WIND ENERGY CORPORATION. Suzlon is not equipped to accept payment by credit card. A receipt for payment is available upon request.
