Special Events
WINDPOWER is a pivotal event for wind professionals and offers an experience unmatched by any other wind event in the world. One of the unique aspects of WINDPOWER is its focus on networking and the many special events that are hosted to foster casual interactions with industry peers and also good old fashioned business deals.
WINDPOWER schedules a number of events that are both excellent networking opportunities and great ways to spend some quality time with staff, colleagues, and industry peers including:
WINDPOWER 2012 Golf Open (Saturday, June 2)
Produced in partnership with Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation, the annual WINDPOWER 2012 Golf Open benefits the Wind Energy Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising public awareness of wind as a clean, domestic energy source through communication, research, and education. The WINDPOWER 2012 Golf Open is also a wonderful opportunity to mix business with pleasure and network with fellow WINDPOWER participants.
This year's Golf Open will take place at Stone Mountain Golf Club, located in one of the most popular attractions in the Southeast, Stone Mountain Park. This championship golf course serpentines through a forest of Georgia pines, Stone Mountain Lake, and is designed to cater to a variety of skill levels. Click here for more information on the course.

Get a jump start on the show by taking advantage of this dedicated time to interact with hundreds of exhibitors, learn about their products and services, re-connect with existing colleagues and network with new contacts. One (1) ticket is included in the Main Conference and Booth Personnel Passes, other tickets can be purchased a la carte through the registration system for $99 a person.
Exhibit Hall Happy Hour (Monday, June 4, 4:30 - 6:00 pm)

Extended Hours for Exhibitor Booth Receptions (Monday, June 4, 6:00 - 8:00 pm)
New for this year, exhibitors will have the option of hosting receptions in their booths following the traditional closing time of the exhibit hall on Monday until 8:00 pm. This extended time allows attendees to network with specific exhibitors in a more relaxed atmosphere, without the hustle and bustle of an open exhibit hall. More information will be posted closer to the conference.

Join us for this brand new networking event following the close of the first official conference day! Get to know downtown Atlanta by visiting more than a dozen local venues where you can enjoy discounted food and beverages, listen to some great local musicians, all while catching up with your colleagues or forming relationships with new clients or partners.
